答：准有宗義，畢竟不起。正立見道，無容而起。得勝捨劣，後亦不起。故《俱舍》云：「此世俗智是不生法，於一切時無容起故。」

Answer: According to the tenets of the Sarvāstivāda, it never arises at all. When rightly situated in the path of seeing, it cannot possibly arise; and having attained the superior and abandoned the inferior, it also does not arise later. Thus the Kośa says: 'This conventional cognition is a dharma that does not arise, because at no time is there any possibility of its arising.'
