問：此所修智，已前起不？若言起者，云何論云兼修未來觀現俗智？若未曾起，復如何云與三類智知、斷、證同故兼修耶？

Question: Did this cultivated cognition arise previously, or not? If you say it arose, why does the treatise say that one 'concurrently cultivates the future conventional cognition of direct realization'? If it has never arisen, how can it be said to be concurrently cultivated because its knowing, abandoning, and realizing are identical with the three subsequent cognitions?
