同世親《攝論》。彼第一云：「亦由此故，證得涅槃。」無性亦云：「生等雜染畢竟止息，名為涅槃。若離阿賴耶不應證得。」
This agrees with Vasubandhu's Mahāyānasaṃgraha. Its first fascicle says: 'Also due to this, nirvāṇa is realized.' Asabhāva also says: 'The absolute cessation of defilements such as birth is called nirvāṇa. If separated from the ālaya[vijñāna], it could not be realized.'
