3.963

按無著《攝論》云：又將沒時造善造惡，或下或上所依漸冷。無性釋云：若造善者，即於其身下分漸冷。若造惡者，與此相違。天親釋云：以造善者必定上昇，若造惡者必定下墜。

According to Asaṅga's Mahāyānasaṃgraha: 'Moreover, when about to perish, having done good or done evil, the support gradually cools either from below or from above.' Asabhāva explains: 'If one has done good, one's body gradually cools from the lower part. If one has done evil, it is contrary to this.' Vasubandhu explains: 'Because one who has done good definitely ascends, while one who has done evil definitely falls downward.'
