答：世俗有言，非定詮假，如下論釋。因果道理不即不異，為對異熟因果定異，故云無別。又不同現心、色之法緣慮、質礙，云無別實，故無違也。

Answer: The words "conventionally existent" do not definitively denote a conceptual designation, as explained in the Treatise below. Because in the principle of cause and effect they are neither identical nor different, it is in contrast to the cause and effect of karmic maturation being definitively different that it says "there is no distinction." Moreover, they are not like the presently arisen dharmas of mind and form, which engage in cogitation or possess physical resistance; hence it says "there is no distinct real entity." Therefore, there is no contradiction.
