4.406

論：隨諸有情樂見如來色身差別，如來示現如是色身，如是示現一切如來形相平等。如是平等即是法性，是故說名平等法性。

Treatise: According to the different physical forms that sentient beings delight in seeing the Tathāgata take, the Tathāgata manifests such physical forms; such manifestations of all Tathāgatas are equal in appearance. Such equality is precisely the nature of phenomena; therefore it is spoken of as the "sameness of the nature of phenomena."
