有義：依止名意，自望假說，非依第七。思量名意，依第七立，故云已滅，依此假名思量意也，立宗但諍思量意故。

One opinion says: Being a support is named manas, which is a metaphorical designation from its own perspective, not based on the seventh. Cogitation is named manas, established based on the seventh; therefore, it says that what has already ceased is metaphorically named the cogitating manas based on this, because the thesis being established disputes only the cogitating manas.
