問：且修六度於現有苦，廣捨竭財有飢寒等，乃至修慧流血裂心，云何而言二世皆益？不善返此，為難亦然。

Question: In the present, the practice of the six pāramitās involves suffering: giving extensively exhausts one's wealth, leading to hunger, cold, and the like, and even cultivating wisdom causes bleeding and a broken heart. How can it be said that they benefit both lifetimes? The objection regarding unwholesome deeds being the reverse of this is also like this.
