釋曰：外復救云：何妨報色不斷，異熟心斷？復此破云：因同於前，命根為喻，逐難粗釋，餘易不論。

The exposition states: The opponent again saves [their thesis] by asking: 'What prevents retribution materiality from being continuous while retribution mind is interrupted?' This is refuted again: The reason is the same as before, with the life-faculty serving as the example. Having roughly explained following the difficulties, the remaining easy points are not discussed.
