顯五十九會五十八，言意中嗔、憂相應者，依隨轉等。按五十八云：又，十煩惱七唯意地，貪、恚、無明亦通五識。又，於欲界貪，樂、喜、捨相應，恚苦、憂、捨相應。

This shows that fascicle fifty-nine reconciles with fascicle fifty-eight, stating that malice and grief being associated in the mental stage is based on secondary occurrence and so on. According to fascicle fifty-eight: Furthermore, of the ten defilements, seven pertain exclusively to the mental stage; attachment, malice, and ignorance also extend to the five consciousnesses. Furthermore, in the desire realm, attachment is associated with pleasure, joy, and equanimity; malice is associated with suffering, grief, and equanimity.
