按彼論云：八唯善，善、不善、無記為義；五善、不善、無記，善、不善、無記為義；一善、不善，善、不善、無記為義。五無記，無記為義；二無記，善、不善、無記為義。

According to that treatise: 'Eight are exclusively wholesome, and take wholesome, unwholesome, and avyākṛta as their objects; five are wholesome, unwholesome, and avyākṛta, and take wholesome, unwholesome, and avyākṛta as their objects; one is wholesome and unwholesome, and takes wholesome, unwholesome, and avyākṛta as its object. Five are avyākṛta, and take avyākṛta as their object; two are avyākṛta, and take wholesome, unwholesome, and avyākṛta as their objects.'
