5.96

釋曰：八謂信等及三無漏，五謂五受，除憂取意，一謂憂根，又五，謂：身、男、女、鼻、舌；一謂：眼、耳，據表業說，命不相應，故不言義。

Explanation: Eight refers to faith and so forth, and the three anāsrava [faculties]; five refers to the five feelings, excluding grief and taking the mental faculty; one refers to the grief faculty; another five refers to body, male, female, nose, and tongue; two refers to eye and ear; this is stated on the basis of unexpressed action; because the vital faculty is not associated [with consciousness], its object is not discussed.
