有義：舊說緣無得起慮者亦無有失，但約本質說此言故，影像即心非所說故，舊義勝《疏》。

Some say: The old explanation that 'reflection can arise taking non-existence as ālambana' is also without fault, because this statement was made solely in reference to the mūla-dharmin, while the reflection [as nimitta-bhāga] is itself citta and was not what was being spoken of. Thus, the old view is superior to the Commentary.
