依《二十論》通破正量及薩婆多，故彼論云：如夢等時雖無外境，而亦得有如是現覺，餘時現覺應知亦爾，故彼引此為證不成。
Relying on the Viṃśikā, this refutes both the Saṃmatīya and the Sarvāstivāda. Hence that treatise says: Just as in dreams and the like, though there are no external objects, such direct awareness nevertheless occurs; direct awareness at other times should be known to be likewise. Therefore, their adducing this as proof is not established.
