釋曰：通破二宗。又若爾時有此現覺，我今現證如是色等。爾時於境能見已無，要在意識能分別故，時眼等識必已謝故。

The explanation is: This refutes both schools. Furthermore, if at that time there is this direct awareness, [thinking] 'I am now directly verifying such form, etc.,' at that time the capacity to see the object has already ceased, because it necessarily relies on mental consciousness (manovijñāna) being able to discriminate, and at that time the eye consciousness and the rest have certainly already passed away.
