問：准《本業經》〈佛母品〉云：「一切善受佛果，無明受有為生滅之果，是故善果從善因生，是故惡果從惡因生，名善不受生滅之果，唯受常佛之果。」論云：善惡俱招異熟豈不相違？

Question: In accordance with the *Benye jing*, the "Chapter on the Mother of Buddhas" states: "All that is wholesome receives the Buddha result; ignorance receives the result of conditioned arising and ceasing. Therefore, wholesome results are born from wholesome causes, and evil results are born from evil causes; it is called: the wholesome does not receive the result of arising and ceasing, but only receives the permanent Buddha result." The Treatise states that both wholesome and evil induce vipāka; does this not contradict it?
