答：行為識雜染緣，能引能生後有果故，非如名色俱為所依，所緣生起，尚名色亦由大種所造及由觸生，何但說識？

Answer: Volitional factors are conditions for the defilement of consciousness, because they can project and produce the fruit of future existence; they are not like name-and-form, which together serve as the basis and the ālambana for arising. [Question:] Since name-and-form is also produced by the great elements and produced by contact, why speak only of consciousness?
