答：識等五支唯取種子，從受起愛多因現起果受而生，故於受中通說因果。識等四支不，要起現方生後支，故不為例。

Answer: The five factors from consciousness onwards are taken purely as seeds, whereas the craving that arises from feeling mostly arises caused by the presently manifest fruitional feeling; hence within feeling it is spoken of as pertaining to both cause and fruit. For the four factors from consciousness onwards, it is not necessary that they arise in manifestation before producing the subsequent factors, so they do not serve as an analogy.
