解云：識等五支望彼未來唯取種故，前四支唯明因分，從受生愛多因現起果受而生，故於受中通說因果。

The explanation is: Because the five branches from consciousness onward, viewed toward that future, take only seeds, the preceding four branches only explain the causal division; craving arisen from feeling is mostly produced through presently arisen fruitional feeling, and therefore within feeling both cause and fruit are explained.
