7.18

釋曰：顯自見分所熏種子，是自現行親生因體。《論》：「『及用一切識名言熏習為種子』者，謂無邊色等影識名言熏習種子為因，似彼生故，是故一切無邊行相分別而轉。」

Exposition: This shows that the seeds perfumed by its own subjective seeing aspect are the actual directly producing causal substance of its own active manifestation. The Treatise states: "'And using the perfuming of nominal designations of all consciousnesses as seeds' means: taking as cause the seeds perfumed by the nominal designations of the reflected consciousnesses of boundless form and so forth, because it arises resembling them, therefore it operates discriminating boundless ākāras of all [things]."
