釋曰：「自性執」者，能分別心。即此所引有漏心、心所法，及彼自類展轉相熏，熏習而生。又云：無三性染、淨不成。如《疏》具引。又云：遍計所執當言微細，難見、難了；依他起性當言是麁，然難見了；圓成實性當言極微細，極難見、極難了。

The commentary states: 'Grasping at intrinsic nature' refers to the mind capable of conceptual differentiation. That is to say, the sāsrava citta and caitasika dharmas induced by this, as well as their own kinds, mutually perfume one another and are generated through perfuming. It is also said: 'Without the three natures, defilement and purity cannot be established.' This is fully cited as in the Commentary. It is also said: 'The parikalpita-svabhāva should be said to be subtle, difficult to see, and difficult to comprehend; the paratantra-svabhāva should be said to be coarse, yet difficult to see and comprehend; the pariniṣpanna-svabhāva should be said to be extremely subtle, extremely difficult to see, and extremely difficult to comprehend.'
