答：有義種體雖一。而有麁細共和合故。如金鐵等一物之中精麁異故。生空聖道力不及彼菩薩方便故留不斷。經依見道、究竟道說故不相違。

Answer: A certain opinion says: Although the substance of the seed is one, coarse and subtle harmonize together, just as in a single object such as gold or iron, the refined and the coarse differ. The noble path of the emptiness of persons has power that does not reach that, and the bodhisattva intentionally preserves it through expedient means without severing it. The sūtra speaks based on the path of seeing and the ultimate path; therefore they do not contradict each other.
