釋曰：初句行施，非生波羅密多類福；第二句生波羅密多種類之福，而非行施；三、四可知。又按《攝論》第七《無性釋》，彼相攝義云：「是其相故者，是攝體相，謂此施等與彼施等更互相攝。是隨順故者，是攝隨順信等善法，施等善心彼所修故，於施等中彼隨轉故，信等即是諸善大地及念住等菩提分法。是等流故者，是攝等流，謂無諍等及十力等，是到彼岸等流果故。」

Explanation: In the first proposition, one practices giving, but it does not generate merit of the category of the perfections. In the second proposition, one generates merit of the category of the perfections, but does not practice giving. The third and fourth can be known. Moreover, according to Asabhāva's commentary on Fascicle 7 of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, regarding the meaning of their mutual subsumption, it says: '"Because they are its characteristics" means subsuming its essential characteristics—that is, this giving and that giving mutually subsume one another. "Because it accords with them" means subsuming the wholesome dharmas such as faith that accord with them, since wholesome minds such as giving are cultivated by them and conform to them within giving and the rest; faith and the rest are the universal wholesome mental factors and the factors of awakening such as the applications of mindfulness. "Because they are its outflow" means subsuming its outflows—that is, non-contention and the ten powers, because they are the outflow fruits of the perfections.'
