7.701

傳有三釋：一云觀察擊發平等，故示現之；二云平等擊圓鏡智而令示現，從彼能擊，說平等現；三云平等自能示現，不假他擊，亦不擊他。

Three explanations have been transmitted: First, observing stimulates equality, so it manifests it; second, equality stimulates the great round mirror wisdom, causing it to manifest, and based on that which can stimulate, equality is said to manifest; third, equality can manifest by itself, neither relying on another's stimulation nor stimulating another.
