This contradicts what the eleventh fascicle of the Yogācārabhūmi says about emerging feelings across the various dhyānas. The Commentary says 'twelfth', but the character 'two' is an error. Consulting that treatise, it says: '"Signless" is spoken of in the sūtras as the signless concentration of mind. In this concentration, the faculty of equanimity is eternally extinguished, only meaning that the dormant tendencies are eradicated because the gross heaviness of that category is abandoned without remainder; it is not that the manifest active entanglement is extinguished, because one abiding in the signless concentration necessarily possesses feeling. Within this concentration, three feelings may occur: namely, joy, pleasure, and equanimity.'
