應立量云：其獄卒等應火燒害；許地獄趣故；如受罪者。故今總說應自不能受鐵地等。由此四義眾多比量，其獄卒等非彼趣攝。彼若救言：若是彼趣有如是失，是餘趣者，竟何有過？

One should establish the inference: "Those wardens and the like should be burned and harmed by fire; because they are accepted to belong to the hell destiny; like the sufferers of retribution." Therefore, it is now generally stated: "They should themselves be unable to endure the iron ground, etc." Due to these four meanings and many inferences, those wardens and the like are not subsumed under that destiny. If they rescue by saying: "If they belong to that destiny there are such faults, but if they belong to other destinies, what fault is there after all?"
