2.270

述曰：由夢壞心，覺時不爾，故此二位所造善、惡，當受異熟，非夢果勝。夢果乃劣，非由外境其果不同。

Commentary: Because dreams impair the mind while waking is not like this, the good and evil performed in these two states, in terms of the vipāka to be experienced, does not mean the dream's result is superior. The dream's result is rather inferior, and it is not due to external objects that the results are different.
