1.69

「第六識望五識得有三緣：謂緣五識為境故得有所緣緣，由有開闢義故有等無間緣，不相障礙故得有增上緣；不能熏五識故，無因緣。

"The sixth consciousness with respect to the five consciousnesses can have three conditions: namely, because it takes the five consciousnesses as objects, there can be the objective support condition; because it has the sense of clearing the way, there is the immediately antecedent condition; because they do not obstruct each other, there can be the sovereign condition; but because it cannot perfume the five consciousnesses, there is no causal condition.
