二、於心、心所法分位差別建立三種者，解云：「當知是則無想定、滅盡定、無想異熟三種也。謂無想定、滅盡定，於厭心種子上，分分功能增長邊，假立為二定體，無想異熟，當知於無想報心種子上，望心不相應行義邊，於報心種子上，假立無想異熟，此三通心、心所有法上假立。」

Second: concerning 'establishing three kinds upon distinctions in the states of citta and caitta-dharmas', the explanation says: "One should know that these are the three: non-conceptual absorption, absorption of cessation, and non-conceptual maturation (āsaṃjñika-vipāka). With non-conceptual absorption and absorption of cessation, the entity of the two absorptions is nominally established on the basis of the gradual increase of capability upon the seeds of the mind of revulsion. As for non-conceptual maturation, one should know that it is nominally established upon the seeds of the non-conceptual retribution-mind from the perspective of the meaning of citta-viprayukta-saṃskāra; these three are nominally established generally upon citta and caitta-dharmas."
