問：「何故但離宗之與因，不能離喻？」答：「別離宗、因，合則離喻，更不別說。然同成宗，故必須體，今以止非，不須異性。」

Question: 'Why does it only exclude the thesis and the reason, and cannot exclude the example?' Answer: 'Excluding the thesis and reason individually, when combined, excludes the example; it is not stated separately. However, because the affirmative establishes the thesis, it must have a substance; here, to negate what is wrong, it does not require a different nature.'
