2.83

述曰：若作二科：上明古似、下明今似。今似有二：初三闕依、後一義順。若為三科：上五顯乖法明相違義、次三顯非有明所依無。

The commentary states: If divided into two sections: the above explained the ancient pseudo-[theses], while the below explains the modern pseudo-[theses]. Modern pseudo-[theses] are of two kinds: the first three lack a basis, and the last one conforms to the meaning. If divided into three sections: the first five reveal conflict of properties and explain the meaning of contradiction; the next three reveal non-existence and explain the absence of a locus.
