Just as with the predicate-unestablished as primary there are two sets of four alternatives, so too with the subject-unestablished as primary there are also two kinds of four alternatives. Among the first four alternatives: There is where the subject is unestablished for oneself and the predicate for the other, which is the previous second alternative. There is where the subject is unestablished for the other and the predicate for oneself, which is the previous first alternative. There is where the subject is unestablished for both and the predicate for oneself, which is the previous fifth alternative. There is where the subject is unestablished for both and the predicate for the other, which is the previous sixth alternative. Among the second four alternatives: There is where the subject is unestablished for oneself and the predicate for both, which is the previous third alternative. There is where the subject is unestablished for the other and the predicate for both, which is the previous fourth alternative. There is where the subject is unestablished for both and the predicate for both, which is the previous seventh alternative. There is where the subject is unestablished for both and the predicate is not [unestablished] for both; this is not the alternative mentioned earlier with predicate as primary, but is simply the alternative of wholly unestablished for both among the one-sided subject-unestablished cases. The preceding seven alternatives are all this flaw, but they are subsumed under the previous seven alternatives without any difference.
