問：「若爾，即有隨一所依不成，宗中所立敵不許故。」答：「既云諸皆，方舉於喻，即兼合已，證彼極成，故得為依；不同舉因，未極成故。」

Question: 'If so, then there is unestablished substratum for one (anyatarāśrayāsiddha), because the probandum in the thesis is not accepted by the opponent.' Answer: 'Since one says "whatever is...", and only then adduces the example, this already combines the conjunction, proving that it is mutually established, and therefore it can serve as a substratum; it is not like adducing the reason, which is not yet mutually established.'
