言「信相應地能離」者，三賢之中十解位也。如《仁王經》云「伏忍聖胎三十人」，十信十心賢心，入此位中，見修麁惑不得現行，故名為離。當知此論上下所明，皆約現行以說治斷，不論種子。是故與餘經所說治斷位地亦有懸珠，不可致怪。

'Separated at the stage associated with faith' refers to the stage of the ten understandings among the three grades of worthies. As the Renwang jing says: 'thirty persons of the noble embryo of patient forbearance.' The ten minds of the ten faiths enter this stage, and the coarse confusions of view and cultivation can no longer become active; hence it is called 'separation.' One should know that what this treatise explains throughout is entirely stated in terms of active manifestations regarding remedy and abandonment, not discussing seeds. Therefore, there is a divergence between this and the stages of remedy and abandonment stated in other sūtras, which should not cause bewilderment.
