言「增長分別事識熏習」者，所謂意識見愛煩惱之所增長故，能受三界繫業之果，故言凡夫業繫苦也。

"Perfuming that increases the consciousness that discriminates objects" refers to its being increased by the afflictions of view and attachment of the manovijñāna; therefore, one is able to receive the fruit of karma bound to the three realms. Thus it says, "the suffering of ordinary beings bound by karma."
