2.31

執者云：現見諸法差別遷流，云何乃言性無生滅？釋云：差別相者，是汝遍計妄情所作，本來無實。如依病眼妄見空華，故云皆依妄念而有差別。

An adherent of attachment says: "We presently see phenomena differentiating and constantly changing; how then can you say their nature has no arising and ceasing?" In explanation, [the author] says: Differentiating marks are produced by your universally conceptualized deluded sentiment; originally they are without reality. Just as, relying on diseased eyes, one falsely sees flowers in the sky, therefore it is said that all [phenomena] have distinctions based on delusional thoughts.
