3.157

此體用熏習，分別復有二種。云何為二？一者、未相應，謂凡夫、二乘、初發意菩薩等，以意、意識熏習，依信力故而能修行。

"This perfuming of substance and function is further distinguished into two kinds. What are the two? The first is not yet conjoined: that is, ordinary persons, [practitioners of] the two vehicles, and bodhisattvas who have newly generated the resolve, perfumed by mind and mental consciousness, are able to practice relying on the power of faith."
