二、釋中亦二，先明未相應中三：初約位舉人、次辨行劣、後明未相應。行中凡小意識熏，菩薩五意熏，並未契真如，故云依信修行也。

Second, in the explanation there are also two [parts]. First, in explaining 'not yet conjoined' there are three: first, mentioning the persons in terms of their stations; next, identifying the inferiority of their practice; later, explaining their not being conjoined. In the practice, ordinary persons and Hinayānists are perfumed by the mental consciousness, and bodhisattvas are perfumed by the five minds; neither has yet tallied with tathatā, hence it says 'practice relying on faith'.
