總中言於真如法中深解現前者，明解勝，異前位，故云深也；異後位，故但云解。所修離相者，明行勝別中廣約六度，明此二也。

In the general [part], the words 'In the dharma of tathatā, profound understanding is made present' explain the excellence of understanding: it differs from the previous rank, hence it is called 'profound'; it differs from the subsequent rank, hence it is merely called 'understanding.' 'What they cultivate is free from marks' explains the excellence of practice. In the specific [part], it extensively relies on the six pāramitās to clarify these two.
