○第三證發心中有三：初、通明發心體；次、明發心相；三、明成滿德。初中亦三：先、標地位；二、明辨行體，即根本智；三、明勝用，即後得智。

Third, arousing the mind through realization, which has three [parts]: first, generally explaining the essence of arousing the mind; next, explaining the marks of arousing the mind; third, explaining the virtues of full completion. The first also has three: first, indicating the ground and rank; second, explaining and discerning the essence of the practice, which is fundamental cognition; third, explaining the superior function, which is subsequently attained cognition.
