3.367

是菩薩於一念頃，能至十方無餘世界，供養諸佛，請轉法輪，唯為開導利益眾生，不依文字或示超地，速成正覺，以為怯弱眾生故，或說我於無量阿僧祇劫當成佛道，以為懈慢眾生故，能示如是無數方便不可思議。

[The Śāstra says:] 'This bodhisattva, in the space of a single thought-moment, is able to go to the limitless worlds of the ten directions, make offerings to the Buddhas, and request the turning of the wheel of the Dharma, merely to guide and benefit sentient beings, not relying on words; or they display surpassing grounds and swiftly attaining correct awakening for the sake of fainthearted sentient beings; or they declare, "I shall attain the Buddha path after immeasurable asaṃkhyeya eons," for the sake of indolent and arrogant sentient beings; they are able to display such countless, inconceivable skillful means.'
