二、別顯滅中。先因滅者，以三細親依無明因生故，無明滅時亦隨滅也。後緣滅者，以三麁染親依境緣生故，境界滅時亦隨滅也。此依始終起盡道理，以明二種生滅之義，非約剎那生滅義也。

Second, in specifically revealing cessation: First, 'the cause ceases': because the three subtle [marks] arise directly relying on the cause of avidyā, when avidyā ceases they also cease accordingly. Later, 'the condition ceases': because the three coarse defilements arise directly relying on the condition of perceptual objects, when perceptual objects cease they also cease accordingly. This relies on the principle of beginning and end, arising and exhausting, to clarify the meaning of the two kinds of arising and ceasing, not on the principle of momentary arising and ceasing.
