The Treatise: "Through wisdom..." and below explains and establishes the meaning of the cause. The Commentary: "Through original..." and below clarifies unmovingness in terms of original purity and present purity. "Also although..." and below clarifies unmovingness in terms of presently defiled and undefiled. These also present first the dharma and then the simile, and both are easy to understand. "This original..." and below explains the first sentence of the Treatise, namely the meaning of the great wisdom radiance and so forth spoken of below. It later concludes: "up to having no meaning of lacking anything." "Also with..." and below explains the latter sentence of the Treatise, namely the meaning of the perfuming of its own essence and attributes, as cited above. "The Śrīmālā[devī-sūtra]..." and below cites sūtras and treatises as proof, as can be known. The truth of the path is the supramundane cause; the cause is precisely the meaning of perfuming.
