論 能令下，二、能起念慮。已經者是過去；下即未來；上當相相續，即現在也。
The treatise says: "Able to cause..." below: 2. Being able to give rise to deliberate thinking. That which has already been experienced is the past; below refers to the future; above, the continuing of marks themselves, refers to the present.
