12.47

辨無明等者，如上六染，但是無明所起之法，今已分配因果諸位明斷竟。然上云不達一法界故，名為無明，未知此使依何位人能遠離耶？故今辨之。

As for "distinguishing avidyā and so forth," the above six defilements are merely dharmas produced by avidyā, and now their severing has been fully assigned to the various positions of cause and fruit. However, it was said above that because of not penetrating the one dharmadhātu, it is named avidyā; it is not yet known relying on a person of which position this can be distanced from, and therefore it is now distinguished.
