12.63

論　能障下，二、顯其礙義，疏二：初、釋文。照寂下，釋所障智名，復名真智、證體智、實智等。以能證如實理，故名如理智。能生後得，故名根本智。上文下，出所障智體也。染心下，釋成礙相，並可知。

[Regarding] the text of the treatise, "able to obstruct", and so on: second, demonstrating the meaning of its hindrance. The commentary has two parts: first, explaining the text. [Regarding] "Illuminating tranquility", and so on: it explains the name of the obstructed wisdom, which is also named true wisdom, wisdom that realizes the essence, real wisdom, and so on. Because it can realize the principle of reality as it is, it is called wisdom according with the principle (yathāvad-bhāvikatā-jñāna). Because it can generate the subsequent [wisdom], it is called fundamental wisdom. [Regarding] "The text above", and so on: it points out the essence of the obstructed wisdom. [Regarding] "The defiled mind", and so on: it explains the marks of constituting a hindrance; both can be understood.
