15.54

一、問。論　云何現色等者，報、應屬色，法身既離於色，云何能現報、應之色？如虛空無色，終不能現色，此可類之。

First, the question. The treatise says: Regarding "How can it manifest form?" and so forth: reward and transformation [bodies] belong to form; since the dharmakāya is separated from form, how can it manifest the forms of reward and transformation? Just as empty space has no form and can never manifest form, this may be compared to that.
