二、法。疏　已滅等者，約過去、未來、現在三世，推求動性無得，如於東方推西相不得，故前云：覺心初起，心無初相等。

2. The Dharma. The commentary: 'Already ceased, etc.': regarding the three times of past, future, and present, one deduces and seeks for a nature of movement without finding it, just as one cannot find the appearance of the west in the east. Thus it was said earlier: 'When one awakens to the initial arising of the mind, the mind has no initial mark,' and so forth.
