顯上方便者，即前發心相中後得智，至此圓滿也。問：前後皆言自然，則因果何別耶？答：前是有心自然，以帶業識故。此是無心自然，唯真獨存故。昭然可解。

“Revealing the aforementioned expedient means” refers to the subsequent wisdom among the aforementioned marks of generating the aspiration reaching perfection at this point. Question: Since both before and after mention “spontaneity,” what is the difference between cause and fruition? Answer: The former is spontaneity with mind, because it carries the karmic consciousness; the latter is spontaneity without mind, because only the real uniquely persists. This is clearly intelligible.
