《楞伽》下，二、按經出體。七識是見、聞、嗅、嘗、覺、知、末那。餘文可知。
'The Laṅkāvatāra…' and so forth is the second, identifying the essence according to the sūtra. The seven consciousnesses are seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, sensing, knowing, and manas. The rest of the text can be understood.
